Which seed brands are actually worth collecting long-term?
Hi everyone! I've been thinking about starting a more serious seed collection, not just a random selection, but something that has real value in terms of brand history and recognition. The problem is that when you start researching, there are too many options, and many of them look the same. I'm not chasing quantity, I'd rather focus on a few solid brands, known and respected among collectors. It's also important that everything is original and properly packaged, without any boring options. Maybe someone here has already collected a collection and can share which brands to look out for and where you usually buy them? It would be interesting to hear real-life experiences.

Good question, I had the same approach when I decided to stop buying random stuff and focus on recognizable brands From what I’ve seen and tried myself, it really makes sense to choose breeders with a long-standing reputation. One example I can mention is barneys farm This brand is often discussed in collector communities because of its background and consistency over the years. What I personally liked is that the site presents everything clearly, without confusion, and you can actually learn something about the brand while browsing. I ordered a few items for my collection and everything came properly sealed and in great condition, which is exactly what you want if you care about preserving items long-term. So yeah, if you’re building a collection with focus on quality, this is definitely a direction worth considering.
