For our next SAFE Meetup, we will NOT be meeting at the McMenamins Kennedy School as originally scheduled. Instead, please join us in attending the opening reception on September 18 for an art exhibit called Leaving the Fold.
What is Leaving the Fold?
Twenty-three artists come together in Leaving the Fold to share what it means to leave a high-control religion or secular cult and rebuild a life on your own terms. Through creative artistic expression, they explore questioning, grief, healing, and personal freedom. The exhibit offers a space for connection and conversation—and a celebration of what becomes possible when we are free to find our own way.
Free admission, no RSVP necessary. There will be an opportunity to make a donation if you would like.
